Stock Wheels
I know that the outer wheel (08 stock wheel)itself is clear coated, but from the looks of it mine are not coated on the inside of the wheel.. Am I wrong here or just not seeing it??

I know my 05 wheels are clear coated on the inside and have to believe your's are also. Leaving aluminum raw , especially on the inside, would lead to pitting , discoloration etc, It's very difficult to detect the clear coat. I stripped the outside of mine and polished them. I got a little stripper on the inside and I could see where the coating was lifting.

you probably just don't notice it because the finish is not really smoothed all that precisely inside the wheel.
