The car is stupid fast! I can't imagine how fast an 06+ z06 is! I had an intake/tuned 04 z06(380rwhp) prior to the C6, but the C6 seems like it pulls so much faster/smoother. Who knows......I LOVE it!!!

I think the general agreement is the C5 Z may be as fast or faster but it feels different because it is more "raw", the C6 is more refined, smoother power delivery that just keeps pulling. Hooray for refinement, if that is what you like, I do!!!!!

I had two LS2 C6's before my 08, and I agree that the 08 feels quite a bit faster to me - and they were not exactly slow!

I own an 06 LS2 and recently leased an 08 LS3, the LS3 does pull harder and it is noticeable.

I love the LS3 but I don't think it's that fast, but then again I came from a 03 Cobra with 490 RWHP 481 RWTQ.
It will be fast as soon as I get the headers, cam, valve springs and tune.

The car is miles above any of the stangs I've owned.

I have had 2 Viper GTSs and the LS3 08 seems pretty close to them if not the same. It would be an interesting race. I almost bought an 07 LS2, but ended up getting a Viper, but this time around I got a Vette because I was shocked how it ran.

I sat in a Z06 before while it was being driven by an experience driver and it was quite an experience. Sadly I have not had the same experience in a standard C6 (I am still adamant about not bringing mine to the track until at least the powertrain warranty runs out).
