I was looking at the chromed factoy wheel from wcw. From what I,ve read a chromed factory wheel for the price looks good to me. My vette is silver with painted wheels looks bland.

I agree, went with CCW polished since it is not as bling as the chrome. They are a PIA to keep clean but I have a wax after I polished them so they are not as bad to keep up with.
Here are mine on MS even though they look chrome its the sun..LOL

Here's my chrome plated CCW 505a's that I use to have. I bought them from WCC last winter, I just checked their website and they don't sell them anymore for some reason. They were very easy to maintain.
The standard finish for CCW's is brushed and clear anodized, however the anodized finish can wear off. Some forum members have suggested that the polished finish is easier to clean, at least in regards to cleaning brake dust. That doesn't seem consistent with what I'm reading here. John at CCW charges $75/wheel to have them painted. Does anyone have experience cleaning brake dust from painted wheels?

I like CCW wheels but can't get beyond the polishing aspect.
I will admit I'm ready for a 19/20 combo but right now I'm still flying high on the ease of upkeep on the OEM polished and cleared stockers.
You can always get them Clear Powder Coated You lose some shine, not much, and they are easy to keep clean These CCW's from my LMB Vette were clear powder coated

I like some subtle flash but I specifically did not want the high bling factor of chrome wheels. IMO you have wipe down just about any wheel after it gets wet...after you wash the car. I wipe down my CCW wheels...I polish them rarely and they look fine. I'm not trying to make them look like chrome (or I would have bought chrome wheels). I don't want to spend an inordinate amount of time polishing wheels as you would to keep chrome looking its best. I find the CCW look fine with minimal maintenance.
