Compliments
Any one driving a vette has had there share of compliments based on color , wheels , sound or art work .Not all vettes appeal to all people. My z was yellow with a mural on hood and ghost flames on side with stingers .Young kids , young women old women and men loved this car , it was a attention getter .The vette i have now is monteray red with chromies , dead stock and dead quiet ,it is a classy color but doesn:t appeal to the masses ,mainly older folks give a thumbs up,i realized this is a great car as is but it doesn:t reflect who i am . I call it a gentlemans vette c6 / a6 .But the truth is im no gentleman so its time to up grade to the freaky vette im use to .Need the new red , 6 speed Z with a pro charger and of course stingers ,DREAMS DO COME TRUE.

I get compliments on my car almost every day. Two different young ladies have said it is the most beautiful car they have ever seen. I guess people don't see that many white C6s. It does really stand out at night and the CCW wheels set it off nicely.

Wait who drives a vette for compliments or attention, actually it is part of Vette ownership. People recognize an American Heritage and give it the thumbs up, kids dream about ownership and women feel it is a sexy car.
When you are driving cars pull up and purposely drive alongside of you as the people in the car eyeball the Vette and you.

I was out at Beech Bend this past saturday and it was parked by my dads, I was walking back to it to get my phone out, and this guy stopped in the middle of the staging lanes, got out of his WRX STI and took about 7 pictures of my car, he even layed down in front of it to get a level shot...he said my car was " just plain gorgeous".

Daily Driver...
I am all around town every day in my vette, not one day goes by without a compliment. I was out tonight getting some anti-snore spray and the guard in front of the drug store was checking out the vette. here in east L.A. there are a few vettes and every one is too cool. all colors/flavors are rollin here in the hood.

It is unbelievable how much attention these car's get. Folks go out of their way to take a closer look see and compliment us on the car. We were pullin' out of Shoney's yesterday, and a guy on a bicycle crossed the busy street just to tell us how beautiful the car is.
Have y'all noticed how other drivers will speed up, or slow down, just so they can get a better view. A whole lot of too.

White is definitely a nice color, I almost go it. In the end it did not matter what people say about the car, all that matters is what I like. I got the CRM, in the land of the SUN this color is awesome and I get a lot of compliments.

Jack...Don't worry about mass appeal....you want 'Jack' appeal. Mod your Vette or buy the Vette you want....for you. IMO the masses can't tell the difference between a Z06 and a C6 if you park them side by side.

Anyway as for the thumbs up yeah you get a lot.
I think when you drive a Porsche, ppl think you are a little snobbish (true or not) and so they admire but don't comment.
As a vette driver you are seen as more approachable, and I have had many ppl come right up to ask about the car. If i drive with the top down, ppl yell random things, I had one guy drive past me in this huge pickup and yell "is that an 07?" and I yelled "yes" and he gave me the thumbs up.
But I will concede this - I still get more attention from my $10,000 convertible with the top down than my vette. There's something about verts..
