i have the chance to buy a nice c5, but my concerns center around the dyno figures of a SUPERFLOW AUTODYN EDDY CURRENT chassis dyno vs a Dyno jet dyno. the seller of the car is telling me that a superflow is always going to read low by about 10% compared to a drum dyno such as a dyno jet. Here are the numbers generated on his 383
torque- final SAE Trq 404 @4900
hp-FINAL SAEPrw- 392 @6200
he is telling me that the conversion to a Dyno jet would yield torque figures at the same rpm ( final IOC Trq 450 Clb-ft and Final IOC Pwr 433 CHp.
Ioc= inertia- only comparison
what is your opinion?? is this bull **** or true??
