Default F55 Owners - Did you know?

Active Handling System
-----------------------
Active Handling System is an electronic symphony of Traction Control and antilock brakes that work together with microcomputers, accelerometers and stability sensors. While no system can overcome the laws of physics, Active Handling compares driver steering input with actual vehicle response. When necessary, it uses individual wheel brake application, the Traction Control System and Magnetic Selective Ride Control (available on Coupe and Convertible) to maximize the driver's ability to maintain stability and stay on track. New for 2008: improved steering feel thanks to a new steering gear.

Does that make it a model instead of an option?

The computer controls in the C6 continue to blow me away.

Active handling of the C5 saved my sorry rear end a couple of times at Spring Mountain.

The C6 F55 rides better than our Acura TL; less harshness. What a ride!

Too bad it doesn't do anything for the scratches the dealer puts on during "prep." Maybe they thought the RPO code was F55 SCR(atch)

Most definitely

Tour mode - on the wide open highways, what a joy to drive, nice smooth quite drive, at one point I thought I was in a Lexus.

You need RPO PC7424 to take care of that.

Yeah and a little more time and I should be finished. It does look nice when you get them all out. Don't ask me about the collection of lights I've purchased to spot the almighty scratch/cobwebbing/micromarring.

If you are really concerned about the swirls, you can find a good detailer to buff them out.

Y'know, I'm new here but is the Z51 also an option for Ferraris?

No, I didn't think so.

This isn't exactly new for 2008. Delphi/GM have long referred to this (with the MagneRide suspension) as "UCC" or Unified Chassis Control. In the past, GM and Delphi generally called it 'Vehicle Stability Enhancement'. Whether with the F54 or F55 suspension it still is a technological marvel.
