The quick fix you can do is get the car up to 40ish and hit the brakes firm and hard.Do this 5 or 6 times.Should eliminate the squeal forever. It did on my 05 z51.Next to that,it's HAWK PADS or something.
There has been lots of discussion on this subject. First try bedding the brakes. If that does not work, and you don't track your car, try ceramic pads. I got mine from Gene Culley.

The correct way is to go to 60, hard on the brakes (just to the point of lock-up) back to 10, then back to 60 and do this about 8 times and then drive for about 5 minutes without stopping to cool them off. Then they are properly bedded in and you can then vomit!

I agree...try bedding the brakes. Start a little bit more gradual to bring the brakes up to temperature first...here is a decent article on the subject:
I'm always surprised how common this complaint is. I've hardly had any brake squeal and never a problem with brake dust (even when I used stock brake pads).

My Hawk HPS's groan/grunt at the final point of stopping and first point of rolling off. I made this point in a thread of my own, recently, and got no responses from other Hawk users
