Don't you think a Retro TURBO Encabulator would be even better? The radio is a Pioneer DVD unit that has been (illegally) modified so I can watch music videos while driving. I usually watch Eagles or Dooby Brothers video's. Think the last time it came on it was playing "Life in the Fast Lane". The computer has a performance tune for the ProCharger, but, I can't see how that would affect the radio? Car still has warrenty (no drivetrain warrenty for obvious reasons), but, there is not a dealer I would allow to touch it. There doesn't seem to be any other system that activates when this occurs. If this becomes an everyday occurence, I may have to put a manual switch to interrupt the power to the unit. Thanks for all the inputs. Glad to see a sence of hummor amongst us all.
Are you the original owner? if so is this the first issues you have had?
If not have you checked to see if it ever was serviced before for this problem? good luck with it and let us know the fix.
Yes, original owner. Matter of fact, bought it on Dec 24, 2005, so, we have a birthday to celebrate this month. First bd, it was ProCharger, Dynatech 1 7/8" headers, x-pipe, and Corsa Sport duals, Meziere water pump, Ron Davis 57mm radiator, Lingenfelter oil cooler, Z06 brakes, Z51 sways, Slick wheels, the Pioneer DVD, Typhoon aluminum intake manifold, Marren 60# matched and flowed injectors, blaa, blaa, blaab. Anyway, think I'll go conservative this year, and just put a decal on it!
I thought the same thing once - turned out to be my dog. Do you know that dogs sense when you are coming home - even when you are still several blocks away? I promise I heard that once - I just haven't figured out how to prove it
Maybe the dog was listening to the radio and ran away when he heard him coming?!
