Even though they're designed for permanent installation they are both removable. The round ones are a little easier to take out.

The rectangular ones will take a little more elbow grease because of the tighter fit. You'll need a pair of pliers to remove the expansion pin and it helps to have a putty knife and a long flat bladed screwdriver to pry the tabs loose.

You can get them from Bravarian Auto Sports..."Bravauto.com" They fit our Vettes perfectly. Their Pt# is 51711960752. If I recall they cost $6.95 each.

the rectangular over the round circular ones are the best, round BMW pucks fit into the cradle cup of my jack and will pull out at which time you will have to pry the puck out of the jacking cup. The rectangular ones give you more area to jack on. I installed mine and it makes it very easy to work on my car. Cost is about $7.99 @ piece.

Both are removable as they have hard plastic tabs to hold them in place but can be pried out. I like the rectangular ones as they give a wider jacking surface and won't get stuck in the jack's cup.

Another DITTO here... Just bought this set. This guy has a perfect feedback record and sells these things constantly and exclusively for C5 & C6 Vettes, so they look like a winner.

Plus, I like the idea of the included storage bag to keep them together in a rear cubby, especially if they ever got grease or road tar on them from the underbody.

Does anybody know if these pucks on Ebay will work with a C6-Z06? The slot is deeper in the frame than the C5 or C6 and my aluminum pucks will not work + I would like to try the hard rubber ones. Thanks for any info.

There are feedback comments in the auction from ZO6 owners who have purchased these pucks and say they work on their cars. I know for a fact that these pucks worked on a 2005 ZO6. I don't think GM has changed the slots since then.

I wasn't referring to my (MY) car. I had a neighbor for a short time who had a silver ZO6 and I'm pretty sure it was an '05. I showed him my pucks and we test fit one of the pucks on his car. It fit on his the same way it fit on mine. He has since moved to Alabama because of his job.

They didn't make a Z06 in model year 2005.

The pucks I bought from Ecklers do not fit the Z06 as stated on their website, but they have ones that do. Unfortunately they appear to be temporarily out of stock.

You might be correct about this BUT it really doesn't matter if my neighbor's car is an '05 or an '06. It definitely is a ZO6. I stand corrected.

cee6 -

I replied to your email, but for other members' reference, here's the description the seller uses for his eBay ads for these pucks :

CORVETTE C5 C6 JACK JACKING LIFT PADS PUCKS & BAG * *

So searching for either his seller ID savonic or just "JACKING PUCKS & BAG" should do the trick.

Also, he Priority Shipped within hours of my purchase, then sent an email with tracking info and a PICTURE of the package as it was ready to ship! That's good service in my book ...
