From the "Getting to Know Your 2008 Corvette" Supplement:
Master Key
The master key
is stored inside
the Keyless
Access
transmitter. To
remove the
master key, push
the small button
near the bottom
end of the transmitter and pull out the
key. See Section 2 of your Owner Manual.

To remove the key, press
the button (A) near the
bottom of the keyless
access transmitter, and
pull the key out. Never pull
the key out without
pressing the button.
The button is not obvious.
it is chrome plated and could easiliy be confused as decoration and not a button.
Look closely at the picture in the first post. At the bottom of the fob ( end opposite the lock unlock buttons) you will notice a slot in the top plastic cover. The button that needs to be depressed in a chrome plated locking tab ththat prtrudes from the base of hte key and locking into that slot in the cover.
Rather than calling it a button perhaps thay should have said depress locking tab...
Just keep pushing down on the chrome button while doing so. A few members broke the FOB pulling without pushing. It does take a bit of effort, but it will open.
that little button is tough. when you do get the key out, repeat it about a dozen times and the "latch" or button will loosen up a bit and release the key much, much easier. from experience on both my fobs.
Thanks for the help i no were the botton is. Do you feel a click when the botton is all the way down???? I just dont want to f-it up!!
No, no click, just make sure its depressed. As stated above, once you get it out, work it a few times and it gets a little looser. However, you want it to stay kinda tight, wouldn't want to lose that key.
