Default Window Tinting

I need some advise and help on getting my '08 VY Coupe's windows tinted in the Denver, CO area. MY Chevy dealer wants $399.00 for the tinting, sounds like too much. Any help appreciated, Donn

That's high. Find a private shop. When I had them done on my 2005, it was $180 for the sides and rear.

Sorry, can't help you out in regard to tinters in Denver. I'm sure there are some quality tinters in the Denver area. You dealer is probably farming the job out.

Had mine tinted two days ago and paid $160 (plus tax).

Price seems a little high. In Little Rock, AR I paid $160.00 for a very nice tint job.
Make sure your installer knows how to deal with the dot matrix on the rear glass. My installer used a product that covers the matrix area with black vinyl and blends in with the tinted area. It looks great and does not obstruct my vision. Good luck.

Should be around $299.00 and make sure it's 3M. 3M has no metal, won't interfere with electronic's.

Here's my VY in 5% 3M all around->

Try Ray Reductions in Longmont or Professional Window Tint in Colorado Springs.

If you give Steve at professional window tint a call and tell him you're a member of CoRacing.com (which you should be if not) he'll give you a pretty decent discount.

Both shops due 1 piece rear glass and top notch quality.

All three windows- Paid $180 plus $30 tip. GET A REFERRAL THOUGH!! I would try to hunt down some fellow Denver-ites to see where they went and if they're happy and then use their hook up.

My price today (Reno NV) was 190, I would think Denver would be pretty similar.

That's excessive. My local dealership has one particular tint shop they use....the tinter(s) come to the dealership every so often and do the work there. It was only $10.00 less if I went directly to the tint shop but since the dealership was closer, I went through them. The total cost was something like $160.00.
