Been lurking for a while and decided to start participating!
I've got an 07 vert (AO) and I'm considering adding a Smoothline removable hardtop. Anyone have any experience with the Smoothline tops? They're kinda pricy... Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Welcome to the forum from 'not quite an old guy.' Don't lurk...jump-in...share your experiences, expertise, opinions and enthusiasm. Everyone's input helps make the Corvette Forum a great resource.

Senility...you know what they say....the good thing about Alzheimer’s is you get to meet new people everyday!
(It's a just a joke...I know Alzheimer’s is a serious condition.)
I spoke with Smoothline back when I got my Vert. They make a quality piece, but after a review of what I would use it for, I decided that if I needed a top like that, I should get a coupe.
By the way - you might want to fill out your profile - else we think you are some kid jerking us around (also helps when you want advice)

I checked out their hardtops at Carlisle about a year ago - nice product but a little too expensive for the use I would get out of it. I have a '75 roadster that I bought new with the hardtop and it's only been on the car 3 times - all involving relocations.
Think hard about how much use you plan to get out of it. The C6s ragtop is very tight and well suited for most weather conditions especially if you keep your car garaged.
Welcome to the forum . . . I'm another one of the 'old guys' like WayneO out here in the desert.
Why don't you fill out your profile info and location so we can at least pick on where you live ?
If you do a search on Smoothline, there was one in the 'for sale' section about 3 months ago and the last time I looked, it wasn't sold--so if it's close to you, it might be a way to save a few bucks.
Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on getting that first post out of the way. Can't help you with the smoothline top, but I'm sure there are others on the Forum who can provide you with some input.
welcome! there was a guy with an lmb vert selling his smoothline top in the summer. he was selling/sold his car. his avatar had his car and a jet fighter in the background. can't remember his name. was selling it for a very good price. do a search in the for c6 parts-for-sale section for it.
