Well, more precisely, it turns off the air compressor.
Aside from not being able to cool down for A/C....it would also make it harder (if not impossible) to defrost/defog your front windows if the compressor is turned off.
OK - I give..... what does the 'no snowflake' button on the Climate Control do?
I have searched every page of the owner's manual, and cannot find any reference to it.
It's in the 2005 owner's manual, page 3-27. You just missed it.
^(Air Conditioning Off): Press this button to turn the
air conditioning compressor off. Press AUTO to return to
automatic operation. When in AUTO, the air conditioning
compressor will come on automatically, as needed
