Has anyone noticed that all the talk, positive and negative, about the new blue has somehow gone by the way side? Really, the new color of blue has to be seen to give its real beauty. The changing of lighting natural or man made makes a real difference on how it looks. I know I have one in my garage and it changes on a daily basis. Bottom line, everyone that has seen it says it's really beautiful. IMO

The changing color based on what light is hitting it is what turns me off to JSB. I liked it the first time I saw it, but the next time I hated it (different light which brought the Aqua). I didn't like LMB for the same reason. I guess I'm stuck with White, Black or Red as they are always the same. No point driving a car that only looks good (to me) half the time...

All that trash talk seems to have subscided about the time our previous member Jet Stream departed. Nice to see things settle down.

Gene...
I own JSB and I was embarrassed by the shameless antagonisnm of that previous member. I feel, one color is no better than any other. I know some think Silver is faster, Black is stealthier, All Corvettes are Red and all that. But when all the dust settles I think we agree on one thing. It's a Corvette and that's pretty special.
Ive had white , red, blk/slv, purple/white vettes and now im getting a blue one!!! to each his own,, wouldnt it be a boring world if we all like the same things,,, hmmm,,, so dont speak to harshly if you dont like it for yourself,, no one is right or wrong,,, rj

I saw a JSB coupe on the road a few days ago on a bright, sunny day. The car and the color looked fantastic. Of course, I feel that way about most C6s but in this case the color really stood out (in a very positive way).
I agree with 2Bubbas-the color shouldn't be a dividing issue as it had become. The departed poster hurt JSB more than he helped it by his "promoting." Looking back, the colors I see as less than desirable were the Frost Beige and a companion color light blue that were offered in '78-'79. Not sure what the General was thinking with those colors. The '50's colors on 'Vettes at least reflected the times-not sure what these were a part of. I've owned Riverside Gold, Classic White, several reds, and blacks over the years. Whenever you get what you have ordered, the color you didn't choose suddenly gets your attention. Multiple colors/cars are required!
theres no way to win this arguement. if i said jsb sucked, everyone who has one will be all over me. and if i said it was great, i'd get a pat on the back. personally i didn't get jsb, but if you like the color what else matters?
When you are a macho man, you have to remind people that lighter colors are girly. Then go out & rub sand paper on your ********* to show how tough you are.
Jet Stream was the reason we have moderators here.......can you imagine what this forum would be like without them?
I agree that all of your colors are beautiful --- because we chose 'em! If you did not like the color of your car you would not have purchased it.
ok, I have JSB and think it's a great color.. What other people think or like is none of my concern.. It's what I like, as I'm making the payments.. If you like Red, Black, White or whatever, that's the most important thing.. Enjoy what you bought.
I've seen Jet Stream Blue in person multiple times (once today actually) and it still makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit. The Le Mans Blue was such a stronger color with more depth. The JSB to me looks like a sun faded blue and the color changes make the same car look different colors when looking at it from just a single angle.
But of course this is just my opinion and everyone knows what opinions are like.....
I am kinda partial to JSB, but have had Black, green, orange and red in the past. I agree with a previous poster, any color is fine. Its just what you like at the moment. Let's just and have a good time here on the forum.
