Just got mine yesterday, five days after I placed my order. Now that's service. I've got 3 months to put them on. Long winter up here. TO ALL.

I put mine on right after I got my car. Several months later my rr guard somehow disappeared. This was in no way a warranty type problem. I called to purchase another guard but was told there was no charge and one would be mailed out that day. That is great customer service.

Default New user review...

I ordered a set of these earlier this week for my new 2008 coupe and received them in just 2-3 business days.

The splash guard material is thick and substantial, it looks to be as durable as the black OEM plastic on the rest of the car. It is a perfect fit front and rear, the guards follow the exact contour of the C6 wheel well edge.

The installation was easy...if you have thumbs you can do this install (maybe even just one thumb ) The instructions are clear and easy to follow...the fronts go on in less than 5 minutes a side, I spent more time pre-cleaning the area before installation than it took to install. The rears take slightly more time because each guard requires 2 pressure clips but they went on without trouble.
I found it easier to put the clip on the guard and when in place, push the clip the rest of the way on the wheel well edge by pushing on an angle from the rear of the car forward. The rears were installed by hand, no tools required.

The most important part came next, the road test. We have melting snow in the mid-West this weekend so the roads are a combination of leftover salt and sand with water running across secondary roads. I took a 45 minute drive on some of my favorite winding roads and drove though many puddles, sand edged roads, and melting snow trails with a few highway blasts mixed in.

Upon return home I first inspected the splash guards themselves to see how they held up. They were secure and exactly where installed.

The big surprise was that both sides of the car, the lower doors and rear fenders, were nearly clean. I did have some splash above the wheel wells, or tire water wrap, but that is beyond the coverage area for this product. The area behind each wheel well was incredibly clean, not much different from when I left. I actually had sand and mud on the passenger side splash guards ...further proof they caught what would have otherwise been on the paint.

When I ordered these guards I was hoping for a product that would help me enjoy my c6 more often without worrying about the effects of road rash, etc. Ed's product has really exceeded my expectations. I don't often contribute or comment on my personal use of products but this one is so well executed IMHO it really deserves mention.

Thanks to Ed at Pipedreams for making these C6 focused products available. If you're on the fence rest assured and order away, you will not be disappointed.

Just got mine last week. Once I figured out a little magic on the front pins, they installed very easily and look good. I wish I had gotten them Day 1 since there is already a little damage to the paint but I'm very pleased to date. Nearly invisible on a black car, for sure.

Thanks Ed!

I'm also a believer. Ed's guards were th first thing I ordered for my 07 coupe in late November. Install as described above, was easy. Have been driving in wet and dry following many snow storms so stress tested the performance of his product. Those little buggers have worked perfectly. No paint damage in spite of the DOT's efforts with sand and @#$#@*'g gravel. I am a very satisfied customer.

OK Ed, now do something about the weather.

Default Me Too

I agree, I bought these guards as soon as I brought my new car home. Thanks to the input from fellows in the forum, I have a great benefit from the guards without looking out of place (my vette color is AO, so the black guards have to somehow blend in).

Installation was easy as soon as I got he short nose plier (I was trying to use long nose plier)

Thanks to pipedream, my car still looks cool

Default Ordered a set of splashguards today!

Ok, I'm sold. I ordered a set this morning. I got one small ding already (less than 3K miles) and I'm sure if I had these already I would not have it.

Can't wait to get them on and then for the spring thaw so I can try them out!!

I've had mine on for over two years now without any stone chips on the paint at all.
