never know, it could be that something was just a little off when it was first indexed. now, if you've done it correctly and it still leaks, then I guess it's time for you to look more carefully at exactly where it's leaking. And if you can, determine why it's leaking.

Such as, there's a space in between the rubber and the window, the window doesn't seem to go up all the way, the door doesn't close tight enough to the frame, etc.

Good luck with it.

But it dident work(to make sure i indexd it right i'll tell you how i did it i held up the window bottons up for 3 seconds then let go held them up for an other 3 seconds) Took it to the carwash after i indexd it and all is good but when the presure wash spays by the the windows i get water dirpping from the same spot as last time. I think its getting in from wear the targa top meets the body of the car. Please help me out guys im going nuts . I have an 08 not even with 1000 miles on it. I would suggest taking the targa off, making sure you had it in correctly, inspect the rubber seal around the windows and targas edge, put the targa back on correctly, re index, and then see. I have not had any trouble at all on my 06

well, I had mine on wrong for about a day and noticed a wind noise, it was not noticable from the outside, but the "peg" was not in the hole, is was more in the rubber, fixed that and nothing since. it never hurts to check.

LOL...sorry I have to laugh at this part of the comment....do you realy beleive that to be true? chances are, unless it didnt rain at any time and at anyplace your car was the entire 2 weeks before you took it home, it got rained on in the parking lot at the factory or in transit to the dealership you purchased it from....if it truly is a "Never seen rain car" it is probably one of the few...hey that makes it worth more right??? lol

Hey guys still trying to fix leak. Can you guys tell me if this is the right way to index your windows??(Very simple to take car of. Get in your car, close the door, and start it. Lower the window all the way down and continue to hold the down button for 5 seconds after the window is already down. Next, raise the window all the way up and hold the button for 5 seconds after the window has stopped. After 5 seconds, let go and then push and hold the button for the up position for another 5 seconds and the indexing is reset.) Do you hear or get a notice that you have done the indexing right?? thanks

my convertible didn't leak in florida downpours. not a drop, and the rain was so bad I had to pull over and wait it out as I watch 3 cars smack into each other.

BTW, I personally would try the window indexing after disconnecting the battery. That way you know it definately did something.
