You are not supposed to ever put your Vette in a car wash, You should wash it at home and give it tons of TLC.. Problem solved.....

Mine only gets washed in the do-it-yourself car wash with the wands that the car owner uses. I've never had a problem with the windows leaking.

My car has never seen rain and I dare not take it to a car wash, so I don't know if it leaks or not.

I've only taken my car through an automatic car wash once, and it was touch-free. I don't recall any leaking (I would have noticed), but the car has only been bucket/hand washed ever since.

I think it's part of the ten commandments or something, "Thou shalt not take Corvette to an automatic car wash".

I never use an automated car wash....I wash the car myself. That said, when washing the car or in heavy rainfall it does not leak.

Are you sure your windows are indexing all the way up?

I have never taken any Corvette I have owned through a car wash, aside I have seen at the factory the water test your car is put through and they put more water on your car in 3 minutes from more angles than any car wash can do in a hour and the factory will not allow ANY leaks

I use a sprayer all the time and never get any water in the window. Now the floor board is a different story.

Do you know what indexing is? It sure sounds like that's your problem. Try looking it up in your manual and re-index them. See if that helps.

I would almost bet the windows aren't indexing properly... especially since it's on both sides. Highly unlikely both windows could be leaking unless the windows aren't indexing............

Wouldn't hurt to reindex the windows. Here's how.

Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done.

This is called resetting of the window indexing or power window initialize and is in the owner's manual. See page 2-17 of the 2005 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2006 owner’s manual, page 87 of the 2007 owner’s manual, page 2-18 of the 2008 owner’s manual.

When you disconnect the battery they lose the proper index and must be re-indexed. It takes about 30 seconds.
