rectangle box inside on windshield
Noticed a change in the '08....my coupe does not have an on star or satellite/Nav antena on the roof or rear hatch, it's on the inside of the windshield in a rectangle shaped box. Am I correct in thinking this is the replacement for the previous outside antena?

As noted, Onstar Antenna. This is not a replacement, Onstar has been in this same location since the 2005 C6 introduction. The XM was outside on the coupe halo and on the convertible trunk decklid. In 2006 it was moved inside the sideview mirror housing.

My mistake too...I meant, do you have a pic of the 2005-2008 Onstar antenna location? I dont have Onstar on my '07 (luckily I had a Onstar yes/no choice in '07) but curious what that box looks like next to the rearview mirror.

Sorry. I misunderstood.You can see it in this photo, just below the front of the visor. It is black in color and about 3" by 8" and stuck to the windshield just below the front trim.
