please read this before you decide, the first c6 i was going to buy was a 06 black on black vert, it looked great in the showroom, the only problem was there was some swirls on the hood, that i asked the salesman to have removed, before i finalized the deal, i returned several days later with a check in hand for 59,000 dollars, i decided to check the car over one more time before handing over my check, when i got to the hood, i couldn't believe my eyes, in place of the swirls, the dumb *** that buffed the hood, took the paint off right to the clearcoat, leaving a patch about 2 feet by 3 inch down the front of the hood, the salesman tried to convince me that it could be fixed, i told him NO DEAL< left with my check in hand, searched again for another vette and purchased my present c6 vert 07 3lt, couldn't be happier, if your not happy with your vette, take it back and either demand another one or void the sale......
