ENGINE BlOWN?????????? HELP????
But, fan-belts flying around the engine compartment at high speed can do a number on hoses and really cause a mess.
Good Luck!

But he said at the moment they are treating as a warranty issue.. I havent even made my first f$ckin car payment. They are having it towed in a couple of hours for free. So far we are off to a good start. Ill keep everyone posted on the progress. This sucks.
Is there any way to see how hard i was driving it? The Onstar is not being paid for. Also, the engine seems ok at the moment, Its just the crank bolt thats wobbling and making noise..Would this cause oil to leak out??The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Plus, you've shared on a very public internet that Corey from Tulsa with an 05 vette was driving his car hard when the crank pulley came loose. Wouldn't be too hard for your local dealer to put 2 and 2 together.
Careful what you share on the forum...

YEP! Likely some user error there as well. Good luck with your repair. Sounds like you have deep pockets. Or atleast a big limit on your VISA.... priceless!
Dealers will find any excuse to not honor a warranty, and in this case if you car is already out of warranty, the fact that your dealer looks to be playing nice suggests you may want to hold on to that dealer.

I've got a car (non-vette) that has spent over 300 days at the dealer in the 7.5 years I've owned it. In 36,000 or so miles: Convertible top fluid went bad several times, control arm bushings replaced several times, wheel bearings failed, tilt/telescoping motor failed, timing chain tensioners failing, nikasil engine lining failed requiring engine replacement.
All of those items failed due to poor design, and that car when new was quite pricey.
Set your expectations too high and you'll always be disappointed, set them sufficiently low and sometimes you'll be pleasantly surprised. This goes for cars, car dealers, etc.
In your case you bought a used car with a TBD (to us at least) history, maybe it was thrashed by a previous owner, maybe not. But most importantly it appears to fall into a range of VINs that had a recall for that very problem. That recall may keep you from having to spend any $$ to fix the problem.
Beyond that though, these cars are complex, with lots of gadgets to go bad.
Cars, like people, have more problems the more complex they get.
