Start Button (plastic piece)

Has any vendor come out with a new start button, maybe in red or aluminum?

I have been looking around and haven't seen any but with all the aftermarket painted pieces you can find around here I thought someone must have done this.

Thats a great idea, a nice carbon fiber or brushed aluminum would look sharp.

I'd buy one in a heart beat if they were available. I really don't like that plastic button that's there now.........

If somone had a red engine start button (like on the vipers) I'd buy one in a heartbeat!!!!!!!

Mine is chipped as well. I bought the car used and figured he or his wife must have had fingernails. I wonder how hard it is to remove or repaint the start button. Anybody ever tried? I'd be interested if you can do something along the lines as being suggested in this thread of just getting a new factory one.

Tougher to redesign one as our button is a multifunction setup, but I suppose someone could paint one to look like the other red start buttons.

A carbon fiber one would look awesome. Especially if it matched the 2008 center console.

I would like to see one in Red or maybe a brushed aluminum piece. I would be interested in both. I'll be first in line for someon who puts these together.
