it's not your discs, it's the head unit. I have the same problem and its completely random. It doesn't matter what CD i put in; burned, store bought, etc. Take the car to the dealership, my guess is they will have to replace the headunit. I know it's a bummer, but my '06 does the exact same thing. Friggen obnoxious.

Mine has another trick as well. Three or four times now the unit has completely locked up with just a blue screen. Once I drove home into my driveway and shut off the car and the head unit just bluescreened and would not turn off. Several minutes later I tried restarting the car and it eventually started working and when I shut the car off it switched off normally. A couple of times when I have started the car in the morning all I got was a blue screen. After a few minutes minutes of driving I pulled over switched the car off, then on and it started working again.
I am sure I will be making the trip to the dealer as well, but so far I can't keep it broke or duplicate the problem for them. You guys who got yours replaced: did you duplicate the problem or did they take your word for it or what?
