Make a police report and call your insurance company with the dealership name, and general manager's phone number. Also, IMO, do not sign any release or settlement promise from the dealership until you've gotten input from your insurance broker or counsel.
Then, think about what color your new Corvette's gonna be . . .
call your insurance company AFTER you tell the dealer to give you a new car. unless it comes back in relatively the same condition as when you dropped it off.
remember: THEY DO HAVE INSURANCE FOR JUST SUCH THINGS.
My car was stolen at the dealership while being serviced. I wont go into the details because it just happened. So...what do I do...
I'm assuming you have proof that you left it at the dealership. Then their insurance should take care of it. Call your insurance company and get them involved.
Were there a lot of mods? Sometimes it's hard to get paid for those.
Sorry it happened.
Good Luck.

Call your insurance Comp., after you file a police report. Then notify the dealers insurance comp. In most cases, no one will settle with you for at least 30 days. They want to make sure your car is not found before settlment. Hopefully, it will NOT be found before you settle. NO ONE wants a recovered stolen car. Take my word for it, I know!!!
1. Call police, file report. CRITICAL STEP: Documents, protects your rights, plus businesses LOVE having a police car on property taking a report in front of prospective customers.
2. Call insurance, give them police report number + all contact information for dealership.
3. Sit back and let your insurance company pound the crap out of the dealership's insurance company.
4. Enjoy settlement.

unless your car is foundand drivable...then you need to go after a diminished value claim as the car will have more than likely had the overlovin' stuffing run out of it...........

Just a guess but I don't think you'll ever get it back. Two were stolen from a local Ford dealer over the last few years(within 1000 feet of the police station)neither ever recovered. Was it parked outside? Don't they have security cameras? Stay calm and you just may make out on this. I'm thinking GMS price on an '09. Keep us posted.

You may be right; parts of San D. are within 10 or less miles of the border......think parts.
I can't really give more advice than what was already given to you in this thread, other than I'm sorry this happened to you. Hopefully they will recover your car in one piece, but I would expect the worst.
It's a shame this kind of thing happens but that is what insurance is for, unless the dealer is negligent somehow at providing inadequate facility security. I hope everything works out for you in the end.
