Default Did It

I have been a forum member for awhile and have spent most of my time on the C2 forum. I have a black 66 BB Coupe which I have owned since 1972. Great vehicle, fun to drive, awsome power but with no a/c and no power anything it is not really a everyday ride. After about an hour I have to get out and shake off the sound of the side pipes. In January I test drove a few 08's including the Z06 and was instantly hooked. So on February 4 I ordered a Crystal Red LT1 with the Z51, MXO and NPP. The expected build date is the week of March 3. The wait and anticipation is brutal. Never thought days could go by so slow. As expected this forum has been extremely helpful and informative. Steve

Congratulations! It'll be worth the wait!

In the meantime check out all the information about connecting a Valentine1, splashguards & Mild 2 Wild switch from Ed at Nakidparts. That way you can install everything as soon as you get it home. That's what I did.

I also had a Storm Shield car cover, Colgan bra, lifting pucks and Race Ramps waiting when it came. Now you know what I did while the wait drove me nuts!

Congrats - you're going to love your car. BTW, it's a 1LT, not LT1.

I sold my 65 Corvette to pay for my CRM 08 Coupe that I take delivery on the 10th of March 08 at the Museum. I still own my 58 Corvette so I will have two Corvettes 50 years apart. Yes they are different animals but I still enjoy the late summer night cruise and ice cream in my 58. Now I have owned at least one of each C1 thru C6.
