The gap at the top of the passenger door is at about 1/16" or even less when the door starts to open! The other door looks normal and doesn`t come close to touching like the passenger side! I was going to ask the body shop at the dealership what kind of adjustment could be made but I wanted ask the real Corvette experts since the dealer already put two good scratches on it! It is a 2006 LMB Z51 and has never been wrecked and I`m not sure why its so close or that I`ve only recently noticed it! Sorry no pics ..still learning!
I'm not sure when they added that little bumper in the lower corner to address this but my 07 has one. It's just a rubber bumper with a screw going through it.
but obviously you need a competent body person to do the adjusting. is that person at your dealership?
I dont know? The dealer was not too great the last time I took it in for service! They scratched areas around the lift points!! It was a young tech doing the oil change!!

Are you saying that when you open the door, the top portion of the gap between the door and front fender is too close? If that is the case, you can still adjust the door at the hinges and tilt the door to where the entire gap is the same between the door and fender when opening.
If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself or having the dealer do it, request the dealer let you take it to a body shop under warranty.

Hope this helps......
If the door gets adjusted would it effect the window operation? Here`s some pics of how close it is!!
Common sense says if the door is moved to the rear, your side glass will then have to be re-aligned. If you can't live it, I would make sure to take it to someone who knows what they're doing. Otherwise, you'll get even more grief. This is just another reason I try to buy from dealer stock whenver possible - you actually see what your getting for your $$$$.

I had to move mine aft (rearward) about 1/16 inch and did not have to make any adjustments to glass.
