Nothing can go wrong when you can not drive the darn thing. 5 more inches of snow last night! Car has been in storage since late October. Only 606 miles on new 2008.

This community represents a mere FRACTION of the total vehicles out there. Additionally, many posts are biased to problem issues vs. "everything is great" issues. So, you tend to be biased to the "dark side" by forums like this. The majority of experiences for the majority of owners is essentially "no problem". Sleep easy - you're worrying for no reason.

I agree with this post!
There are probably many, many posters on forums who would have never even thought about a forum even existing for their vehicle until they had a mechanical problem of some sort. Who would even think there is a forum for Ford Expedition? My son has one and when he had a problem with his a/c I checked on line and found that forum. It doesn't compare to this forum but it does exist.
I would think that auto manufacturers would have some of their technical staff monitor the forums on their particular vehicles to see what ideas the owners and users of their products think about and want.
Just think about all the little mods people do to improve their cars like cup holders, trunk poppers, exhaust, intakes, mesh grills, etc.
I never cease to be amazed by the power of the internet to bring together ideas from across the globe from thousands of people and put them on a single screen in front of me. Because of the uniqueness of our Corvettes and the fact that they are hobby cars for so many of us, compounds the number of Corvette people who may seek out the forum thereby making this the best forum I have ever come across. I have been a member here for almost four years.
