After reading the info on this site for the past to month's. While the info is fantastic and I really feel prepared to pick up my Car this Sat. Already having the Dealer put on new chrome wheel replacements, hmm. And all the other stuff I read that could go wrong Im starting to scratching my head to see what is going to fail first on this car.
My 54,72 & 74 all had problems and this 2008 C6 dosen't appear to be any different. At least after all the info I received from you Guys I'll know what to do.
Good God why worry about problems you don't even have?
I've had my 2005 C6 MN6 (one of the first year models supposedly notorious for problems) exactly three years yesterday....it's been extremely reliable and virtually trouble free. I drive it on the street and I run the snot out of it on a road course a couple days each month. It's a great car!
I expect any car to have mechanical problems and more so as time goes on but I'm not tripping on it. If and when it does have a problem I'll deal with it.

You need to remember there are 35,000+ Corvettes made annually. Considering you have posts from owners of 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 models on this site you have way over 100,000 vehicles out there. This community represents a mere FRACTION of the total vehicles out there. Additionally, many posts are biased to problem issues vs. "everything is great" issues. So, you tend to be biased to the "dark side" by forums like this. The majority of experiences for the majority of owners is essentially "no problem". Sleep easy - you're worrying for no reason.

When I bought my 350Z 4 years ago it was the same thing. Based on forum complaints, the car was a lemon and I should just burn it once I get it home and save myself the trouble. Well, it was a great car with no real issues. People with problems are more likely to post than those with no issues. Don't worry and enjoy!

Same here. I don't understand some of the comments. It's been very reliable thus far.
