Default Question about TPMS...

I purchased a set for my '06 C6 aftermarket wheels and when I received them they were different...

They look to be for C5's and they are GM Part # 25731358

I did a search and they showed up in the C5 forum...

Before I waste my time and going to the tire shop, will they even work!?!?

Thanks in advance for your help...

Regards,
Corwin

Nope....they won't work.

You need the sensors with GM Part# 25758220. Take a look at a video below that I just made today where I show what you need.

If you need some, I've got a set of brand new ones for $30 each plus $3 shipping. The $3 shipping is for 1, 2, 3, or 4 (i.e., you need a set of 4 and it will be $123 shipped).

New sensors come with the grommet/O-ring, valve stem core, valve stem cap, but they DO NOT have the retaining nuts. You can use your old retaining nuts, or if these are for a 2nd set of wheels, your tire shop may have them or you can get them at the dealer.

Default Thanks...

I ordered # 25758220 but the C5 sensors...

Hopefully it was a mix up with shipping...

But if it goes south and they will not send the correct ones, I will be in touch with you...

Thanks...

BEZ06 is the resident expert on TPS and TPMS tools.

I was going to post links from the FAQs page for Bob's other great videos but the links (on the FAQs page) seem to be dead.

It would be worthwhile to have those videos permanently posted.
