Got some 1 and 7/8 kooks headers, baer rotors (zinc coated so no rust will show), z06 sway bars, hawk brake bads, x-pipe, and tune. Pushing just below 400 hp to the rears (dynojet).
Looks great and should run pretty strong as well. How does it sound?
I will try to post a clip later. It sounds very good. Not too loud - just nice clean bass. It breathes so much better. This is how vettes should come from the factory. Before it sounded restricted.
sweet, nice vette. is that all you have done is a tune and headers to get that much hp to wheels, is it a ls3 or 2 ? how much h/p gain do you figure you added to the motor when you add the headers? im going to do some header soon, thanks

I like the look of the red stripes and thinking of doing the same to my black C6. Are the stripes painted?

My stock ls2 dynoed 358 to the wheels (ok it was not 100% stock, I had a haltech CAI and no tune - BTW haltech cai gave me about 5 hp to the wheels after I installed it last year - without any tune). With these mods, I get 383 hp to the wheels, and 378 torque. Using Dyno Jet. I guess saying just under 400 to the wheels was a little misleading.
Bottom line, with a good CAI, x-pipe and headers you can get 33 horses to the wheels - at least this is my experience.
In either case, the vette feels like it can breath now. It really felt restricted before.
I will probably do my rear end and get bigger tires before moving onto the pro-charger next year.
