Not to worry, I got it... I knew the Grey safety piece had to be removed... The hang up was, what to do after that is removed... It's obvious now that all one has to do is "squeeze" the little tab - comes right off!
You cannot remove it as it will cause your car to explode .
Small grey locking tab, use a small screwdriver and pry it up, becareful not to lose it. Squeeze the tabs and then pull up. Don't forget to reinstall the locking tab when you finish the install.
Well, I got it in... The only sticky point was getting the MAF sensor cable off. The instructions from SLP are limited at most. Not a big deal if you've got an idea of what's going on. I could see where there could be some room for error for the not so experienced.
Fit and finish is A1! Only marginally louder (I think). I have not really got on it yet. So it may howl like a scalded hound dog when I do.
