Adding Navigation?
My buddy is getting ready to buy a 05 vert. I has everything he wants except navi. I cant seem to find a straight answer in my searches.
Does anyone know for sure or have done it?

Yes it can be done. Yes it has been done by members here on the forum. The readers digest version is that he will need a Nav head unit and antenna. The install of the head unit is fairly straightfoward as I have read. He will need to install the antenna. The factory location is under the center of the dash pad ( near the center speaker grille.) It is a bear to install as the center ductwork for the climate control is there. Others have simply affixed it to the dash in a corner. If the car has a HUD it will integrate with the the wiring harness for the HUD.
Once it is installed it will require a trip to the dealer to have the Nav unit matched to the car and disable the theftlock. It is a simple procedure (probably in and out in 20 minutes) with the Tech II.
