I am looking into installing the factory CD changer. Do I need to get a harness or is the car already wired? Also, do I need to order mounting brackets?

Reason: update
Super are you just looking at upgrading you single disk radio to a 6 disk?
If so there is no changes needed. It is a simple plug and almost play. You will have to have the new radio programmed to your car. I did this and it is about a 30-45 min. swap.

I want to ADD the 6 disk changer. It mounts in the trunk.
I would consider getting a link and using a IPOD instead. A lot more music and you don't have to take up one of your storage bins in the back or swap out CD's.

for the C6, supposedly, the reason they didn't come with the rear CD changer is there is an upgrade to the factory unit, so that you can burn your own MP3s on your home pc, and play those. I got the upgrade from a CF guy, and it works good, not great. the system has a little trouble labeling and filing if you put too many CDs on one MP3 disk. but, it does work and it cheaper and easier than doing the rear intstall.
burning mp3 disks is a pain in the @$$ for this P.O.S. player!!!....I bought a motorola T505 and love it!!!!!! It works great and my cell phone plays my gigabytes of music over the T505 A2DP bluetooth bridge to the FM radio (very minor static if any)...not to mention great for cellphone use- my onstar verizon wireless would cut out above ~25mph because of noise....next I am going to have the T605 installed and put the 505 in my Jeep!!!
Does anyone know which audio adpater harness I would need for the 605?
