You'll get a variety of suggestions and IMO there are several decent products. Mine suggestion is to get a true 'bottom feeder'...a CAI that draws cool air from the bottom of the car and doesn't draw warm air from the engine compartment.
Vararam seems to be a very popular choice amongst forum members.
I'm partial to Lingenfelter products. To me, Lingenfelter is the gold standard for Corvette performance engineering. Their reputation is legendary and well deserved.
Even the Corvette owner's manual cautions against driving through deep standing water to prevent water ingestion and potential hydro-lock. When going to a true CAI, keep in-mind extra caution must be observed. That said, I've driven my LPE CAI through some fairly heavy rainfall without incident (but I still exert caution not to ford any streams).
