My DIC tells me lots of things to.
Listening caused me to wake up in a strange hotel room with an unknown woman and no pants.

DID sounds funny too. As in...what did your DID say?
They should have named it the Diver Data Display (DDD or 3D). Just be glad it wasn't named the Driver Information Screen (DIS), or Vehicle Display (VD).

I actually love the acronym. Sounds like something that I would come up with if I were involved in the naming convention process. I think we have some pretty cool engineers over there at GM ;-)

I guess some people's minds are always in the gutter.
I'm sure there was something Freudian going on when they decided on the acronym.
I don't recall on my Suburban...do other current GM vehicles use the same acronym or is DIC Corvette specific?

D3 (Driver Data Display) or just a Data Display would have worked too...but those don't sound quite as 'colorful.'

Seeing as the "C" in Center is the soft C....shouldn't we be pronouncing it "DISS" anyway?.....never will fly, will it. Oh well, I am going to go out to the garage and look at my................car. (hard "C")
