i just signed back up for 5 months for $19.95, that is $4.00 a month. my C-6 has been in winter storage since oct. i will start the XM service on may 1 when the corvette events start in my area.
Well, I may give them a call in April when I get the car back....
I had to cancel my XM subscription today (actually it will be canceled on April 19, 2008). XM sent me a letter informing me my subscription will automatically renew at some ridiculous rate. I called them and the representative stated he could not renew at $77.00, so I told him to cancel it on the 19th of April, and he obliged. Has anyone else had better luck with XM renewal recently? I like it but not at $12.95 a month, especially when I am putting less than 5k miles on my car a year.
I just got my renewal card last week at the $38+ per quarter. I had called them last November telling them that my Vette would be in storage for 3-4 months and that they were to extend my renewal date. I also told them that I was unwilling to pay more than the $77 because I drive it mostly on weekends.
They transferred me to someone else who stated they had my info. on record and instead of moving my renew date, they would give me a credit of $45 and would renew me for $77 for the next year. I will be billed the difference so my total cost will be $32 + Taxes.
I don't understand the math but I didn't argue and said fine, please renew.
called XM told the girl about Zwinback she said not a problem sent me a bill right about the time my free subscription was due it was $77.00 with no $2.00 check fee states right on bill $77.00 until 3/11/09. call again.
Same here but XM called me and I said I wanted the $77 deal, and bill me for check payment. No problem, got $77 invoice yesterday and sent check,. Donn
