Need cheap tint in Chicago

IMHO...I don't think tinting is something you want to go cheap on. Chances are it's gonna be cheap for a reason and will look like crap very soon. You should be able to get a good tint job for $250 or so. I recommend doing a little legwork to find someone with Vette tinting experience. If you don't...YOU WON'T BE HAPPY...no matter how little you paid. Good Luck!

Tinting
I'm getting my '07 tinted tomorrow at a place called "Umbra Window Tinting" in Arlington Hts. for $180 for all three windows. He claims that he can do the rear window in one piece. He sounded very experienced and offers a lifetime guarantee. I'll believe it when I see it.

Had mine tinted today
Well I had my 2007 tinted today by "Umbra Window tinting" in Arlington Hts. They did a very nice job and offer a lifetime guarantee.
The only issue is the top of the rear window where the factory coating is located. He told me prior to tinting it, that it may not cover real well. He did the rear window in all one piece and it turned out pretty nice. You can see where the factory coating is keeping the tint from touching the glass completely in some spots though. He said that some people bring their car back and request that the top portion of the window be covered in vinyl, but I'm not sure how that would look.
If anyone had vinyl put on their car, please let me know how it looks.

I'm having umbra do some tinting and removal of a clear bra in one spot. He wont touch the defrost window in back. origanally painted on from the first tint job. You can see the blacks spots like bubble on the upper glass where the defrost pad is.Bothers me.
Oh well see how this turns out.
