I have these little dots on my car after it sits in the garage for a day or two when its been washed the wash right off but I cant figure out what the hell they are. Any suggestions its driving me nuts and I cant keep my car looking good like I usuaully do. I cant post pics cause they dont turn out. It also may help to know that its only happened since Ive been living in oklahoma. Thanks.
Maybe it's flaking drywall from the garage ceiling? Do you have a garage door opener? Although old houses used to contain asbestos in the garage as well.
I notice this stuff on my black C6 whenever the opener is running. It's like little white dots of dust. Since I have a one car garage I'm parked directly under it.
Do you know anyone with a good microscope? Make a tape-lift of the stuff and either stick the tape to a microscope slide or the inside of a freezer bag. Just use the crystal clear scotch tape - it's hard to see through the frosted tape. Once you know what it is, then you can take appropriate action.
