I should have listend to everyone on here and ordered my NPP's from Gene. I have ordered everything else from him. Anyways, I made a mistake and ordered the NPP exhaust pipes 3 weeks ago from GMpartsdirect.com and they are still not here. They simply will not get back to me on anything. As you know you can't get ahold of them(no phone) and their email system is useless. It's a company that basically doesn't exist even though they are online. It would be very hard to take them to court because they don't really exist even though they do lol. This will be my last purchase there and I would highly recommend everyone order from Gene Culley.
Question is I sent them an email to cancel and refund my money. Problem is I can see me ordering them from Gene then a month from now they show up from GMpartsdirect.joke and I'm stuck with 2 sets. What to do what to do.
Like one of the posters above stated, dispute the charge ASAP with your credit card company. If the charge has not been billed yet, you still got time I believe. Good Luck!
yeah but that doesn't always work. Owning a large .com I know. You can easily lose the dispute if their return policy states I can't cancel or something. I guess I will just have to wait it out and hope they come through soon.
If Gene does not have them in stock, you might be waiting for 3 weeks with him also. At least though you can get ahold of him by phone if needed.
exactly!
It's a miracle but they just responded to me! lol They claim the mufflers came in damaged and they need to get different ones. It will be another 2 weeks. Maybe I will get them before I turn 90. Maybe not.
thanks! Maybe I've been a little too hard on them. From reading around on here sounds like the Damaged NPP's is real. Lots of others have had the same problem. Some have waited months for the NPP's. I will just chill and wait.

If you end up with two sets, I'll take one off your hand for half price I'm here for you !

Receiving NPPs damaged is a common problem. I believe Gene said he has something like $40K in damaged NPPs in his warehouse.
Yes, this is why I cannot get them quickly for people. They think it is ME not wanting to do anything with them, but I have placed a few orders now for $40,000 (each time) of exhausts and only get 2 or maybe 3 sets per order to sell. That is nuts! It is a complete lost of investment! If you guys saw all of the NPP's I have you'd laugh at me.

Your problems might be just starting. If and when they get around to it, they could care less if the send you damaged NPP's. And wait until you see what happens when they send you the wrong merchandise and it is their fault: They won't even answer your inquiries. They are dishonest.
You have at least two high quality sources for factory GM parts right under your nose in this forum: GMPartsHouse (Gene Culley) and Fichtner Chevrolet (Bob Wendorff and Tom Dorsey) - don't mean to suggest that there aren't others. They both have very good prices and no stories.
Don't be a chump. Put the scum bags on notice and kick it off your credit card. Make it their problem, not yours. And don't get sucked in again. You are getting quite a track record with flakes.
