The HUD

Hey guys I have a 2008 black Z-51 Coupe without the HUD. When I had my '02 it had the HUD, so I didn't worry about it. I saw on this forum way back a couple of guys that installed the HUD on the C5.

My question is can you still install it yourself on the C6?

I see where it would go; it has a cut out on the dash. Can you remove it and install the HUD into the gauge cluster?

lots of guys have done it. Looks like a ton of work to me. Entire dash has to come apart. I can live without it. Had it in my 00 and just don't think it is worth that much work.

Here is a member who just did it himself. Good info to be had from him. You will need gmautotech to make a wiring harness for you. Good luck.
