No thanks ... very happy with my own equipment
Never been married and have been in a committed relationship for last 8 years with my boyfriend.
I bought this car with my own money. I know more about this car than he does .. he thinks a car is just for getting from point a to point b .. doesn't appreciate that it's the "how" you get there that is the beauty of the vette
Nope .. never lived anywhere near a trailer park ... do not watch NASCAR or INDY or any other races like these .. don't know any rednecks
Oh soooo true! I think you have summed it up very well mowdoc.

You could not call our Vette a mid-life anything as we worked our entire lives to get it. We just happened to be mid-life when it became possible. Believe me, if we could have gotten it when we were 20 we would have.
We try to keep the garage door closed and not flash the fleet but I will be first in line to tell you that is our sweat and tears in there and we are damn proud of it.

Melting Slicks
Well, if you developed your stereotype from reading on CF, the C6 general section in particular, you would probably view corvette owners as a big group of guys that, for the most part, barely even like or drive thier cars and have nothing better to do than whine about the car and justify why the coupe/vert/Z06 is the best choice of the three and how the remaining two models are worthless.

35 a midlife crisis?
I'd add that bulky gold chains are an assumed dealer gift when you buy and drive a vette. At almost 35, my colleagues jokingly say (out of jealousy) that it is my mid-life crisis "camaro". I am OK with that. Particularly since my mid-life crisis mobile is going to ECS for a breath of supercharged air (birthday present to myself for turning 35).
35 is no midlife crisis! You are just hitting your prime! I got mine at 46...now that’s a midlife crisis! LOL.

I’m 40 and just purchased my first Vette this year (used). A lot of people give me crap about “Midlife Crisis”, I just tell them “Nah I’ve always wanted one, just now i can afford it”.
