Got my first ticket today. First ticket in my whole life, and I've been driving 46 years. The expensive radar detector I had stored in my trunk didn't do me much good!

It wasn't even for anything impressive: just driving 55 through an electronic toll booth with a 25 speed limit. The two vehicles in the lanes beside me were going faster, but I got stopped. Do you think it was because of the yellow convertible with the roof down? Hmmmm...

I'm old enough to know there's no point pleading for pity when a cop has a rider in his car who he's trying to impress, so when he handed me the ticket I didn't say anything except "Have a nice day".

Then I opened up my NPP with my Mild 2 Wild, held it in second gear with the paddle shifters so it wound up a little bit and accelerated right smartly into the passing traffic.

I think he got my drift.

46 years and no ticket...I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy your car.

You waited long enough for your first ticket, the next one will not be any fun either, just kidding sorry about your misfortune, unfortunately it happens to most of us alot sooner.

My mother is 69 and has never had a speeding ticket.

Now how does that make you feel?

Hey Rod sorry to hear about your ticket. On the other hand it was nice meeting you today, sorry our talk got cut short but if you noticed the wife is pregnant, trying to fight a cold, and needless to say today she'd been feeling really sick.

PM me whenever you like, John

Sorry to hear about that, but at least now you will think about it before going that fast in a 25 mph zone. He could have wrote you up for wreak less driving.

I remember when I was a young buck, I got a 102 in a 55 while driving my little black cavalier, those were the days.
