For the AirForce can we get a golf course mural and air conditioned tents? Lol~!
Actually, its a pretty bad day here at Camp cupcake. 120 degrees, the camp is out of water ie no showers, there is a sand storm and the internet is really slow.
I think that this a good idea though. Sometimes GM should listen up. Corvettes and the military have a long relationship.
Well, a lot of guys are already putting 'hash marks' on their Vette.
Don't you know some REMF at GM would spin out an enlistedman's edition...the NCO series and on up through the grades. The limited edition 'Road Commander' Z06 would come standard with fender mounted pennants flapping smartly in the breeze.
The great success Harley Davidson has had over the past 10 years or more is due to the fact that ***** G Davidson is a very approchable guy and listen to riders where ever he goes, a lot of their models today are due to the ideas of riders all over, maybe GM should learn a lesson here, not to say that GM is not successful with the Vette, but there is always room for improving customer relations.
Perhaps there is a way to approach GM with all the ideas you guys have posted, I would love to see the service men get some recognition, in this form. They sure deserve it.
You didn't finish!!! Don't forget the Navy and Air Force???? Ok, just the Navy
Instead of the ridiculous striped pace cars, GM should built a limited edition Armed Forces Edition Vette to honor our heros, the many that made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as our present men serving in the military, and use it as the pace car.
No disgusting stripes involved, just some small distinguishing badges, similar to the Z06/ZR1 badge. JMO
That would be awsome....I like the 4 star badging complimented with the insignia of each branch..
