Hey jerry, I made a set of these for my 02-Z06. I now have a set for my new Z06.
Not sure, but my old pucks might work on your 08 coupe.Actually i think they would work, as the new Z06 frame is a little different.Find out, let me know. You pay shipping and you can have them.

Does anyone know for sure if the Z06 pucks Jon has will work on my 08 Coupe???
There are several types that work and you can even make your own with hockey pucks. I use the BMW rectangular jacking pucks. I bought them on line at Bavarian Autosport http://www.bavauto.com/
As has been discussed recently...I strongly suggest you do not leave jacking pucks installed on your car 24/7. Use them when they're needed and remove them when you're done.
Living in Northern California we are a little short on hockey pucks. However I was able to buy hockey pucks with the bolt attatched for a little less than BMW pucks. On to another project.
I too just bought the heavy duty lifting pucks on Ebay for $15.95 + 7 shipping. Looks like hundreds of other Corvette owners have purchased these or the cheaper $11.95 ones and all have had great reviews. Although, it looks like those that paid the $4 extra thought it was definitely worth it, so I bought the better ones.
I got the el cheapos because they're made to protect the car, they're not a toy, investment, etc. So who cares if they're shiny metal, etc. Additionally, after having my own rocker panels cracked, I'll just throw them to the guy getting ready to lift my car next time (whenever that is) and if he happens to lose one of them or destroy one of them....then I haven't lost nearly as much with the other puck options.
