Lots of Corvette owners like chrome, and are going to rip everything else. But then again, lots of Corvette owners couldn't tell you what songs are popular, what new movies are out, what is hip to wear, and when to stop adding aftermarket "bling" to their cars. IMO this is not always the best place to get advise on current style.

True of a lot of "domestic" owners. It seems as if all the new and upcoming stuff ends up in the import market. Those guys aren't afraid to experiment with new setups, and they're always on the cutting edge of what's new. (And when I say import market, I'm primarily talking about NSX's, S2000's, RX-8's, Supras, 350Z's, etc. not rice).
I've said it before and I'll say it again: there's nothing wrong with a red/white/black Vette with chrome wheels, but it's played out. You're 1 of thousands.
Yes. I like it. Like someone said it is more of a bronze then a shiny gold. I wasn't thinking of blingy daytons on the C6. Something like what is shown above.
Yes, the gold daytons and whitewalls were meant to be a sick joke.
I was at a tire shop this week when I saw a matte-gold ICW Racing wheel on display and thought how cool that would look on my DSOM coupe. Can't get to Photobucket right now, but here's the link to it. http://www.icwracing.com/data/10.gif
