Corvette vs. Harley Owners?
A good friend of mine said that if you pick the average Corvette owner, they are very meticulous people. In contrast, a Harley owner is more care free. I don't know many Harley owners, so I couldn't comment too much on the subject, but I know I am meticulous about my care for the Corvette and other things I own.
I'm sure there are people here who own both. What is your opinion?

I have both. I couldn't leave either one stock. I keep them both in equal good condition. My experience with Harley riders is that they are much like the Corvette folks with regards to passion and care for their machines. Both are great folks to hang out with.

I have a twelve year old Harley, and it's in pretty nice shape. Carefree with keeping it nice? Some, perhaps, but not me. I hope to keep the Vette nearly as nice. Check back with me in twelve years.

I own a C6 and a Street Glide and I take care of a second bike, the wife's VROD. I am very meticulous about both and maybe more so with the bikes than the Vette. Every thing on the bikes is more critical than on the Vette. The conditions of the tires, tire pressure, bushings, bearings, brakes, lights, etc., all are more critical on the bike. And the maintenance cost of the bikes is more than the Vette. I keep all 3 vehicles looking as nice as possible. Before riding (the bikes) I always check each tire's pressure and each tire for nails or other objects. I have tons of money in chrome and other accessories on the bikes, more than on the car.

As you can see, I have both and love both, but the wife is more into the "Harley's' than the vette. To me, the vette is mor personel! Now of days, everyone has a harley! At least here in Myrtle Beach!! But I love both!!

Also, I think that most Vette owners as well as Harley guys fall in to a few categories, age no factor.
1. Show Only
2. Road Course
3. 1/4 Milers
4. Dyno Jet Racing
Seems that everybody likes American HP.

I have both. 2005 Ultra Classic Fire Fighter Special Edition.
2007 Corvette C6 Coupe. Both are bright red, waxed,
chrome is polished and both are garage kept under cover when
not in use. If one is not in use, the other typically is. Being ****
is not a bad thing.
