Everything on my 2008 went dead, had to have it towed to the dealer. They are blaming everything on the exhaust control switch I got from Ed at Pipedreams. GM tech said several modules are shorted as a direct result and nothing will be covered by the waranty. They are talking several thousand dollars!!! I don't really believe them but I don't know what I can do. Any ideas!!!

That's what I'd do. I keep my fuse in the car ready to change it out just in case something like that happens. I really don't think that caused your problem, but they could use that to screw you.
It was dead and I had to call roadside assistance. The dealer told me they already contacted GM tech assistance and they would know if I took anywhere else...

Sorry to say I've been a lifetime suporter and have purchased nothing but GM products my entire life but if they refuse to repair this under warranty I will never purchase another!
Not sure why you would not email or pm me directly, just happened to find this thread. Mild2wild installed as delivered really can't cause any of the issues you reported. It only acks as a fuse, so either the fuse is in or it's out. Please email me so I can find out your purchase info and how you had it installed leeacustoms@optonline.net
Noticed the wheels were backwards. Dave S told me I could to switch them myself, which I did. Problem #1 solved.
Last week the keyfob would not work to open car. I had to go in through the hatch, which I did. I put the keyfob in the glovebox slot with no responce. So I went and got the other keyfob and tried that one. That one would not work so I tried that one in the glove box also. I was standing outside the car with the door open and both keyfobs inside when my son tried to get by the car with his bike. I shut the door to give him room and I was locked out. I'm sure you can imagine my reaction...
I had to call roadside, I was sure it was the battery. They came over and the driver had a great idea of fishing out the keyfob with a long rod. This worked because the window did not index. Problem #2 solved
I charged, disconnected and reconnected the battery, nothing worked. I called roadside again and like an idiot never thought of removing the exhaust switch. Now GM tech support is blaming the switch for everything and the dealer won't touch it until I agree to pay up! Which they say will be at least $1,000 but probably a lot more!

It seems to me it is just a fuse/no fuse arrangement as mentioned above and if by some remote chance something did go wrong it would only affect that circuit anyway.
If another dealer won't fix it for you under warranty then it's time to call the GM 800 number and work your way up the food chain. Follow the process.
I wouldn't think a 'mild to wild' switch (properly installed) would cause this problem. I'd ask for something in writing that explains why the modification caused the problem.

It amazes me how many people suggest you attempt to defraud GM by de-modding the car. Argue the point if the modification didn't cause the problem but have some integrity....don't resort to committing fraud and stealing.
