I was just kidding of course. The real answer is yes you will get heat from the car heater. It will take longer before the thermostat opens and the coolant starts flowing with the stock stat than with the 160, but more than sufficient heat will be available for the interior so you won't freeze with either stat.

A 160° T'Stat doesn't result in 160° coolant temp. but even if it did 160° water is hot enough for your heater to function.
Ever check the temperature of the hot water from your home hot water heater? I'll guaranty it isnt 200°.

This doesn't mean that it is hot enough to keep you warm on a cold day. Heat is being transferred to the outside. The heat lost may be greater than the heat gained.
