If I am not mistaken the front and rear emblems have two pins in them as well as the adhesive so using a dental floss will only get the outside of the emblems.

Prob will ruin the originals when you remove them.

I do not think they will enhance the look of the car any. The originals do add a nice contrast.
Most important though is IF you like them.

They look cool. Try taping 'em over the stock emblems temporarily to see and post a pic.

And as far as putting these on - - what the heck, if you like `em, that's all that matters!
Go for it . . . .and then post a couple of pics.

With the black outs and the color match, I can see it looking real good with the new emblems.
You can't hurt anything. Just try to save your old ones.
Just looking at the color of the new emblems and the original emblems, it looks like the new emblems might look better than the original.

P.S. If you put the new ones on, post us a picture.

I think they will look great. How did you make them? Looks like the rim is painted black and the inserts are Blue?

Just wanted to say, your car looks awesome. I love that color, and the blue and black theme is one of my favorite (second being white/black).
