While waxing my 05 MN6 I noticed that the driver door doesn't close as far as the passenger door. Is there a simple way to get the door to close about 1/16th of an inch more. The passenger door is flush with the rear fender, the driver door is slightly out.
Been there, done that. You have to adjust the door stricker (the part on the door, not the B-pillar). To do that, you have to remove the door trim panel and then partialy remove the water barrier. Loosen the two bolts on the stricker, adjust as needed. The rear edge of the door should fit flush to 0.5 mm outboard of the leading edge of the quarter panel. You do not want the door to fit "inboard" to the quarter. You can use the edge of a credit card to guage flushness.

Check your window if it is pushing against the rubber stripping on the top and front of the window. Your window is not indexing.
Simple fix turn car on, lower window and then raise window and once it gets to the top hold for a count of 3, do both windows. Now when you park and get out the window will drop about 1/2" close the door and the window will go all the way up. The door should now be completely closed and flush with the rear quarter.
