Folks,
I've read few threads about PA11-VETTE and it seems to be the best solution out there. Anyone install it on a C6 without XM? XM install looks to be very easy. What does it take without XM? If you've got pics, that would be great!

Looks similar to a unit I got from Soundgate. They only allow control and playback via playlists which is limiting in my opinion. Their are units that control genre, playlist, album, etc. I think Best Buy has one that gives you complete control. What led me to the Soundgate unit was ease of install since it hooks via the XM module. It took 10 minutes to install.
I am not so happy about the limited control.
Without XM as an interface point, you have to get the radio out so you can hook up via the cabling at the rear of the unit, so it is more involved, but shouldn't be too bad as long as the manufacturer provides all the needed wiring harnesses which avoids any tapping and splicing into the factory wiring.
